Mommy and Garrett

Daddy's first time to feed Garrett.

Garrett was born on September 20, 2005 at 5:48pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 6.8oz and was 20 inches long. The birth was easy and so for the last two months have been going well. He just turned two months old and got his first set of immunizations. The whole rest of the week he really wanted to be near Mommy. Thank goodness for childrens Tylenol, that and being close to Mommy really helped him feel better. He now weighs a wopping 13lbs and is 23 inches long. About two weeks ago he started smiling and laughing. He has also started cooing a lot more. He is beginning to hold on to some of his toys with his hands. We can't believe how fast life really goes when you have a baby. It seems like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. We finally got his nursery painted and it is semi set up. He is still sleeping in our room (in his crib) and probably will be for a while since he still wakes up about 3 times a night. It is a lot easier on mommy to have him right there. We will post pictures of that when it actually looks more like a nursery.
