Nathan's Homecoming

Nathan finally made it home on October 30. It has been a great couple of days and I have lots of pictures I will share with you guys. Nathan is adjusting well and so is Garrett. The picture of Garrett is the morning after Nathan came home. He wore his I Love Dad pajamas to bed the first night. Nathan closed his eyes for every picture we took at the homecoming. He was really exhausted from all the traveling. He went back to work today. He will only be working half days until November 8 when his leave starts. We are looking forward to doing nothing for a couple of weeks.

Garrett's Birthday

What a fun fun day we had today. We celebrated Garrett's first birthday today. I can't believe the time has ticked by so fast. I have a feeling it is going to go even faster once Nathan gets home. Today we had a little party for Garrett and it turned out really nice. I think Garrett knew this day was special for him because he was in a good mood the whole day, but specially after eating his yummy cupcake! I also think I have him about a million extra kisses today. I hope you enjoy the pictures and I wish we could have celebrated this special day with all of our family and friends.
